The Crisis and Recovery Enhancement (CARE) Technical Assistance (TA) Center works to strengthen criminal justice diversion efforts and the crisis care continuum to help all Californians access appropriate wraparound services and supports. Consistent with this mission, the CARE TA Center’s quarterly magazine will highlight innovative evidence-based practices, promising crisis intervention models, upcoming learning opportunities, and more.
Our first issue features work from partners at NAMI California, C4 Innovations, Impact Justice, and Stanford Sierra Youth & Families. With a special focus on mobile crisis response teams, the issue explores these community-based efforts that seek to meet individuals in crisis where they are. Read on to learn more about mobile crisis team collaborations, hear a range of voices from the field, and access relevant resources!
