Dear Community Solar listserv subscriber,
If you intend to file an application to Program Year 2 of the Community Solar Energy Pilot Program, NJBPU will hold an optional webinar tomorrow on the process to upload applications via NJBPU’s e-Filing portal. NJBPU Staff will be available to answer questions regarding the technical upload process only.
If you cannot attend, NJBPU will record the webinar and post a link to the recording to the community solar Frequently Asked Questions page.
Date: February 3, 2021
Time: 3:30 p.m.
Additionally, please review the following reminders:
- Applications will only be accepted through the Board’s e-Filing portal. Applications submitted in hard copy, or emailed to the Board Secretary or the community solar questions inbox will not be accepted.
- Friday’s 5:00 p.m. application deadline is a strict cut-off based on a timestamp automatically generated by the e-Filing portal. Please account for any potential issues with slow internet or upload delays.
- You will only be able to upload an application if you have a MyNewJersey account. As a reminder, instructions on how to create an account are available on NJBPU’s e-Filing webpage. Once you have a MyNewJersey account, you can request the Role Authorization and you will be emailed your BPU External Access Portal Credentials. Once logged into the Portal you will be able to upload documents using the “Docket Case – Document Upload” function in your MyNewJersey account on the left hand side of your screen. Click the “Search Docket #” to make sure that you are uploading all Applications under the PY2 Community Solar Docket Number: QO20080556. Once you upload your documents, make sure you select them and press the button that says “Send Document(s) to BPU”. If you do not press this button, your application will not be transmitted to NJBPU.
Complete instructions on uploading documents via the e-Filing portal are available here.
Check the community solar Frequently Asked Questions page to ensure you have reviewed all recent updates and clarifications. Submit any questions to communitysolar@njcleanenergy.com immediately.
