On February 3, 2021, Staff held an instructional webinar on how to upload applications for Year 2 of the Community Solar Energy Pilot Program via NJBPU’s e-Filing portal. A recording of the webinar is available at the following link: https://youtu.be/CU2t9cGwnto.
Please read the following reminders regarding how to file applications in the e-Filing portal:
In the e-Filing portal, you have the option of uploading an application under the heading “Party Upload – Public” or “Party Upload – Confidential”
If you are not seeking confidential treatment for any portion of your application (i.e., no part of your application should be kept confidential), you must upload your application under the heading “Party Upload – Public”.
If you are seeking confidential treatment for any portion of your application (i.e., redacting certain information), you must upload two separate versions of the same application:
The redacted version (i.e., the application with the confidential portions blacked out) must be filed under “Party Upload – Public”.
The unredacted version (i.e., the full application with no redactions of confidential information, and with the affidavit and substantiation of confidentiality attached) must be filed under “Party Upload – Confidential”.
Under no circumstances can you file an application only under “Party Upload – Confidential”. If you have already submitted an application only under “Party Upload – Confidential”, you must additionally upload a public redacted version under “Party Upload – Public”.
Applications will only be accepted through the Board’s e-Filing portal. Applications submitted in hard copy, or emailed to the Board Secretary or the community solar questions inbox will not be accepted.
Friday’s 5:00 p.m. application deadline is a strict cut-off based on a timestamp automatically generated by the e-Filing portal. Please account for any potential issues with slow internet or upload delays.
