Youth volunteers volunteering at a food distribution in September
Give Now!
Since 2005 Joshua’s Heart Foundation has:
  • Raised over $3M to Stomp Out Hunger
  • Distributed over 4.8MM pounds of food
  • Served over 4.9 meals to families
  • Donated over 200K toys, books, & clothes
  • Recruited 50,000 youth volunteers
  • Assisted over 600K individuals

All while teaching many food recipients how to prepare healthier meals.

At large monthly distributions and at small weekly distributions, JHF donates groceries, toiletries, etc. to a minimum of 150 families. JHF also doles out healthy recipes, hosts cooking classes, and provides educational outreach to show people what they can do to help the hungry locally, nationally, and around the world.

Opportunities to Shine!
Applications are open for Prudential Emerging Visionaries, a program that celebrates young people bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to pressing financial and societal challenges in their communities.

Prudential Emerging Visionaries will recognize students ages 14-18 who have innovative solutions to societal and financial challenges. The program builds on the legacy and momentum of the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards, the country's largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.

"The new direction is lauded by 20-year-old Joshua Williams, a 2013 Prudential honoree and Ashoka Young Changemaker who runs Joshua's Heart Foundation, which has distributed more than 3 million pounds of food to impoverished families around the world."
