6 Lutheran Churches in Humboldt County partnered together this weekend for a Day of Service! The group partnered with three different nonprofits throughout the day to help serve the local community. Our Savior's Lutheran in Ferndale, Christ Lutheran in Fortuna, Lutheran Church of Arcata, Calvary Lutheran in Eureka, Immanuel Lutheran in Eureka, and Grace Good Shepherd in McKinleyville were all present for the day.

The other morning service project led folk to the beach for a clean-up with the PacOut Green Team! You may see a few "Lutherans in Action, Humboldt County" shirts that the group made for their service day together.

|
Calvary Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church of Eureka joined together for a collaborative worship service this past Sunday! Bishop Megan preached at their service and folk joined both in-person and online.

Synod Assembly Registration Open!
Open March 1 - May 1, 2022
Registration for Synod Assembly 2022 is now open! The Assembly will commence on Thursday, June 2, 2022 and close Saturday, June 4, 2022. In order to attend synod assembly as a voting member in-person, all individuals will need to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. Registration for the Synod Assembly or any of the accompanying events must be completed online.

Volunteers Needed!
As hundreds of our fellow Lutherans will be attending the Assembly to Worship, Learn, and Conduct the Business of the Sierra Pacific Synod, volunteers are needed to assist Assembly attendees.

Special Events for
Synod Assembly
We have additional special events happening before and during the Assembly that we're inviting non-voting and voting members to. A Day of Service, Rachel Kurtz Concert, LGBTQ+ Workshop, and Sierra Pacific Outdoors Fundraiser.
Individuals can attend the special events even if they are not attending synod assembly!

Bishop's Wednesday Livestream Prayer
Every Wednesday, Bishop Megan (or a member of the Synod Staff) goes live on Facebook and YouTube for a time of prayer as a community.
We invite you to join us for prayer every Wednesday at 6:00pm! Public prayers can be lifted up in the comments, and private prayers can be messaged directly to Bishop Megan.
