|
On Saturday, July 9 from 9 AM -12 PM, OneSource Center is coordinating a region-wide FREE TOY giveaway (Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky) to help kids “Unplug and Play.” This past year has been difficult for kids, and we want to help them to step back from technology and get back to the business of being kids. Everyone is welcome! First-come; first-served. Toys are appropriate for children age 10 and under. One toy per child.
In conjunction with this event, OneSource Center will also be hosting a Giveaway Day of select items from our warehouse inventory. Our Spring Appeal kicked off on June 1, and we’re counting on you to help us spread the word!
Please follow, like, share, or comment on our Facebook page to help spread the word to other organizations and individuals. Don't Forget! Nominations Are Due June 30 |
|
EXCEL is offered by the Nonprofit Leadership Institute of Cincinnati (NLIGC) as a nine-month leadership development and skills training program for nonprofit executive directors and high-level managers. EXCEL is designed to enrich the management capabilities of those individuals leading or preparing to lead nonprofit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati region.
OneSource Center embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion and recognizes the under-representation of people of color among the leadership in the nonprofit sector. In response to our objective and recognition of the current state, OneSource Center has established the OneSource Center Emerging Leader Award, which will provide a full scholarship for the award honoree to participate in the EXCEL leadership development program and also receive one year of executive coaching.
OneSource Center will begin accepting nominations for the next Excel Emerging Leader Award on Wednesday, May 4. If there's someone you'd like to nominate for this award, please fill out a nomination form and submit it to nominations@onesourcectr.org by June 30, 2022.

2022 Compensation and Benefits Report |
|
The Leadership Council for Nonprofits event on May 18 provided updated information on compensation and benefits in our sector. This biennial survey is sponsored by VonLehman in partnership with Leadership Council. 150 agencies participated in the 2022 survey, which is available for purchase from Leadership Council. (Tip for 2024:Participating agencies receive the report for free!) Overall, as we know, the labor market is tight and many agencies have had to provide increases or other adjustments due to the labor shortage. Projected compensation increases in 2022 are at 4%. After sharing highlights of the report, there was a very interesting panel discussion on trends and issues around HR issues such as training, retention, culture and more. We appreciate Leadership Council for providing this useful information. |
