Celebrating 50 Years of Coeducation |
Join us for a year-long celebration and help us honor the voices of the Women of Taft: students, faculty, staff whose journeys have made Taft a better school and whose potential will continue to shape it for years to come; alumnae who have impacted their communities, transformed the places where they work, and created a better world. We want to hear from you. Look out for a survey in the coming days. Your replies will help us curate a tailored series of both virtual and in-person programs throughout the year. |
| Alumni Weekend: May 13-14, 2022 |
Reunion highlights will include events where you can hear from current students about life on campus today and interact with them; our traditional parade; meals in the dining hall; activities throughout campus and your choice of several engaging open classes. The festivities will be capped off by an on-campus alumni party on Saturday night, May 14. A complete schedule will be available soon. In the meantime, check out your class-specific page for more information. |

Perspective: Building Strength Through Adversity |
Head of School Willy MacMullen ’78 welcomed the Taft community back to campus during this fall’s Convocation Address in Bingham Auditorium. It was the first time in more than 18 months that the full school had met in Bingham. During this historic moment, MacMullen recalled another: September 11, 2001, whose lessons continue to shape our strength and resilience as a school. |

Student Voices: Inspiring Leaders |
|
Co-head Monitors Zobran Elias and Nicole Balbuena welcomed the community with heartfelt speeches on arrival day, and again during a recent Morning Meeting. Their addresses allowed them to reflect on their Taft journeys, drawing from their own time at Taft to inspire and encourage their peers. |

A sea of red adorned Taft’s fields last weekend as the school hosted its first day of home games open to parents and alumni in more than a year. The game day included plenty of tailgate picnics and games under the lights. Taft swept almost all of the contests including big wins for football over Trinity-Pawling, field hockey over Loomis, and boys’ soccer over Andover on the newly turfed Camp field. You can catch up on scores and schedules on the Athletics web pages. And whether you are from the “Go Big Red!” or the “Go Rhinos!” era, we invite you to cheer on Taft athletes on game days as you watch our athletic livestream. Photos of this weekend’s games are available on taftphotos.com. |
