Adult Book Lists

March is Women's History Month, which commemorates and encourages the study, observance, and celebration of women's vital role in American history. Let's hear it for the ladies!

This month's Genre Spotlight is mystery fiction. Who doesn't love a good whodunnit? Browse this list for mystery writers like Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Anthony Horowitz, Louise Penny, Reginald Hill, and Agatha Christie. Whether you like your mysteries dark and twisty, cute and cozy, or somewhere in between, we've got just the titles for you!

As its name suggests, microhistories are a subgenre of history that focus on a small unit of research-- typically one place, concept, item, or community. Explore some of the weird, wild, wacky and wonderful titles we have about topics you never knew you wanted to learn about!
