Blessed Fall!

After returning from a successful Templefest 2025, I am appreciating the change in the weather: cooler nights and walks in the woods. Autumn does bring the most Witchy time of the year and in this world of chaos, we have a lot of things going on in our community to share.

I am excited to announce that I have a new book releasing through Copper Cauldron Publishing, The Goddess of the Cauldron. It is an in-depth exploration of the cauldron mysteries, including the goddesses and gods associated with this sacred tool.

I am also happy to say we are almost complete with the 20th Anniversary Editions of the Temple of Witchcraft series, with The Temple of High Witchcraft and The Living Temple of Witchcraft Volume I in stores now. Like the previous anniversary editions, each has over 20,000 words of new text, new forewords by beloved friends, and a new introduction by me. Eagerly awaiting the completion of The Living Temple of Witchcraft Volume II!

Gearing up for a busy Fall season filled with classes and events, as well as booking some of my 2026 events already. Hope to see you at an event in-person or online soon.

The Goddess

of the Cauldron

We look at a variety of forms including the Cauldron, from Arthurian lore and the progression of the Holy Grail to the vessels of alchemists. A magickal text with each teaching building upon the other, we work the powers of the sacred cauldron are in sequence, using the myth of transformation and rebirth from the goddess Cerridwen and her bardic son Taliesin as a system of initiatory magick. The mystery of the Mother and child, life, death, and rebirth is at the heart of these teachings. Topics include the intersection of herbal magick and medicine, alchemy, music, and poetry including the wisdom of ancient Greeks, Hermetic Qabalists, and mystical Christians as well as the Celts. The heart of the text is deeply rooted in the work of the modern Witch.

The Opposition of As If and As Is

Two key teachings for a student of the occult are not often explicitly taught, but are inherent in the techniques and traditions. The first is the principle “as if.” Behave “as if” something is true to make it a reality. It is particularly powerful in spellcasting and manifestation to act unworried about the outcome and act “as if” the outcome is happening all along or has already happened on some level.
