President's Message
The FAFP board of directors agreed this weekend to support the AMA, AAFP, and 50+ others national organizations in recommending COVID-19 vaccine mandates for health care workers. We family physicians (of all people) know what the right thing to do in the setting of a worsening pandemic is, the very reason we support the position. Now is the time to be on the right side of history, which is to advocate strongly and loudly for all eligible patients, especially healthcare workers, to receive the vaccine, and support the AMA statement. Please join the FAFP board and your colleagues in encouraging all of our peers and co-workers to get vaccinated for the safety of our patients and one another!
