Dear Alief Staff Members,
This is a quick reminder that voting in the March 1 primary elections began today. You may find information about voting in Harris County or Fort Bend County at the Alief Votes website here.
You might also have seen information about the Social Media Challenge on the Alief Votes website. That challenge started today and runs through March 1. Post your "I Voted" selfie on social media and tag Alief ISD. If we receive more than 500 selfies before the cutoff, you may wear jeans for a whole month later this school year.
I would also like to share an informative website through the Secretary of State’s Office. Please take a little bit of time and get to know the candidates, no matter which primary you vote in. This site click here is easy to navigate and can give you information about state and local races on the primary ballot
