Rod Burylo will discuss how to develop effective referral-generation strategies for business development, with an emphasis on ethics and compliance. Rod will discuss communications strategy and specific compliance risks. Advisors will learn how to improve the quantity and quality of referrals while mitigating risk and protracting their practice.


Rod Burylo, CLU, FCSL, is an international speaker, business author, and media source, with over 35 years of financial services industry experience as financial advisor, branch and relational manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and director of public and private companies.


With an undergraduate specialization in applied ethics and jurisprudence, he has been providing business ethics training and education since 1988.


Rod is a Canadian Advisor of the Year Award winner, Champion of Financial Literacy Award finalist, and Board Chair for the Foundation for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship.


He currently serves as Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Review Committee member for Equate Asset Management – a manager of individual and corporate portfolios, pensions, and an investment fund.
