PBS KIDS APP OF THE DAY!
Do you want a science app? The Cat in the Hat gives you that with a tap! Kids play and learn in their backyard, to see how science is fun, not hard!
Based on the PBS KIDS series, “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That,” this app introduces pre-k kids to science inquiry and engineering (STEM) concepts through games tailored to their learning progress.
On weekdays from 6 am to 6 pm, GPB TV has modified its programming schedule to support distance learning. It now includes conversation starters and discussion questions.
MAY 6 AT 10 AM ET: Join GPB Education for a statewide exploration of Georgia's freshwater sources. See how freshwater and wastewater are treated to become tap water! This live streamed/televised event will feature interactive questions, Q&As with water experts, and more!

Healthcare workers often write reports, charts and emails. Writing clearly and accurately is critical to patient care and success in the medical field.
GRADES: 6-8
Learn about the critical role of mathematics in the work of a pharmacist. Pharmacists must accurately measure and package medicine, ensuring that its dosage is safely administered to a patient. In the accompanying activity, students calculate prescribed dosages of medicine and the amounts of medicine needed according to different factors, including patient weight and time.
GRADES 6-12
The immune system is a natural defense system that uses biological processes to fight invaders such as germs. Vaccines introduce a weakened germ to the body so that the immune system learns how to fight it and is prepared for a future invasion. 
GRADES 4-8
Dr. Craik discusses George Washington's bravery, leadership, and ingenuity. He describes how General Washington used the science of medicine to help win the Revolutionary War.
GRADES PREK-3
