Now Accepting Global Youth Service Day Matching Grant Applications
Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is the largest world-wide service event that is focused on the contributions of youth.

FLEX Alumni are eligible to apply for up to $500 in matching funds to implement a project in celebration of Global Youth Service Day, which takes place over the weekend of April 29- May 1, 2022.
Call for Host Organizations for the Alumni Internship Program
The Alumni Internship Program is seeking host organizations for the Summer 2022 cohort.

Do you work for an organization interested in hosting talented FLEX alumni interns? We are accepting applications through February 28, 2022.
Are you an experienced professional with expertise in topics related to well-being and resilience? Consider applying to become a mentor for the FLEX Alumni Workshop for alumni from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The deadline for this application is January 11, 2022.
In November, 112 senior FLEX alumni from 12 countries participated in The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity training led by the Franklin Covey corporation. Lejla Sabotic '20 and Amir Cuturic '20 organized the Walking Warriors event in Podgorica, Montenegro in honor of Suicide Prevention Month in September. The event raised awareness of and provided resources for those experiencing mental health issues.
Diana Kimak '20 organized a Global Youth Entrepreneurs (GYE) workshop in Chernivtsi, Ukraine after participating in the Trustees of Tomorrow (TOT) program. The GYE workshop featured four local entrepreneurs sharing their insights on business development and leadership.

The Global Village Program is accepting applications from FLEX alumni through January 15, 2022. Selected FLEX alumni are eligible to receive full and partial scholarships to take part in the Global Village Program on the Lehigh University campus during the summer of 2022!

The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program is a United States Department of State-sponsored program for secondary school students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine. The program provides merit-based scholarships for students to travel to the United States, live with a host family, and attend a U.S. high school for a full academic year.
