May brings so many moments to look forward to and reflect on. May means celebrating mothers of all types, our veterans, and the increasing hours of light each day. Some of us might be preparing our gardens, while others of us are wrapping up the school year—however you spend your spring, we want to celebrate with you! We have several workshops and support meetups worth checking out. Our Managing Expectations workshop will look at how parents can manage their expectations and what they can do to take care of themselves. Join therapist Tammi Van Hollander of Mainline Play Therapy as she presents, “Nature-based Play and Healing.” We will also be having a coffee and conversation morning at Colectivo Coffee in Wauwatosa for any parent looking to chat with other parents in the area. If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family, we have a Breakfast on the Farm event this June, a picnic at Bookworm Gardens, and many others. There is something for everyone and we would love to see you there! Also, don’t forget to sign up for our regional Facebook Group for all the latest updates.
