Join the KOSON/STEM Board of Directors!

Each year the KOSON/STEM Board of Directors holds elections in the Spring to fill open parent seats on the board. As the Board prepares for the elections this year, they'd like to invite any interested parents who would like to be considered for the upcoming election to reach out to learn more about what the Board does. They want to provide opportunities to meet with a Board member to ask questions and learn some of the work they are involved in. If you're an interested parent, please email [email protected].

Dear STEM Families,

We are off to a wonderful start this semester. Over the break, we added new staff members to our team and adjusted our current staffing to best meet the needs of our students and school. We are very close to being fully staffed and are blessed by the talent and dedication the STEM staff exudes daily.

As the doors opened on Tuesday, Jan. 10, everyone was excited to explore the new areas and see the construction progress made over Winter Break. The anticipation of our new gym facilities is building. We hope that our families and community members will join us on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 4:45 p.m. for our Grand Opening Event. We will have a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event, JV and Varsity basketball games, and State of STEM updates, as well as other exciting highlights from educational programs and various enrichment events occurring throughout our building.

Each Friday we send out three newsletters to our various stakeholder groups (parents/community, students and staff). Parents are automatically signed up for our newsletter using the information provided in Infinite Campus. Since we are a K-12 school, there is a lot of information that gets shared with our community each week. In order to be as efficient as possible with our limited resources, we break up the newsletter into specific sections to organize the information as best as we can for our families.
