Mark your calendars for #STEMShares, May 2-7
We want to let you know that we will again focus our efforts on #STEMShares for the week of May 2-7 to commemorate May 7. Since this day will be on a Saturday (no school for students and staff), we wanted to share the following information with you.

We want to invite our entire community to participate in #STEMShares by doing Acts of Kindness, Acts of Service and Acts of Donation. This could include donating to a charity or non-profit organization, volunteering, helping a family member, reaching out to a friend you haven't connected with in a while, or anything else you can think of to provide a moment of connection with others. Click here to read more
The last month of the school year
May is a unique month in the school calendar and is full of so many events that it feels like a roller coaster.
  • Our seniors decide on their college choice with a deposit due to secure their space in the next school year’s freshman class.
  • Welcome to Middle School and Welcome to High School events help with the transition between schools.
  • Graduation comes with the stress of saying goodbye yet the excitement for the next chapter for our grads.
  • Finals and grades are submitted and reviewed to make sure enough credits are earned to progress at the secondary level.
  • High-stakes AP and CE finals for college credit are completed to allow students to bypass college freshmen courses.
  • Teacher and staff appreciation week includes staff meals and treats provided by our PTO and parent volunteers.
  • Anxiety about the long summer without meaningful connections at school builds, while the spring temperatures and Colorado blue skies lead to daydreams of fun activities and vacations.
  • And of course, the reflective time of our darkest day, May 7th, three years ago.

When she was talking to another friend about something she included me in the conversation but let me be alone when I felt like I wanted to be, she respected my feelings :)
