Focus on Innovation Continues at STEM
The stress of living in the COVID world demands new solutions. STEM was first in DCSD offering virtual days in 2015. We were the school with a practice that was ahead of its time even with the Colorado Attendance Law of 1963, A 60-year-old law that was defining learning in 2020. It was time for innovation!
Two exciting events happened this week to position STEM ahead of other schools once again. Stephanie Webb, our enrollment specialist, and Amelia Reinkensmeyer, our post-graduate assistant, responded to a request from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) to pilot a program that awards credits for apprenticeships. We are so excited to share that STEM was approved for this program this week. Click here to read more

Spread the Love!
Spread the Love. It’s time to show our teachers some love. Take a heart and post what you love about your teacher or their class and hang it on the heart on their door. Hearts are on the bulletin boards around the school. Let’s see how much love we can spread this month.
