During this weekend, we will dive into the fascinating world of storytelling, tabletop gameplay, and the profound connections between roleplaying games and our journey of faith. Whether you're a seasoned TTRPG (table-top roleplaying game) enthusiast or completely new to the world of gaming, this retreat is designed to engage and inspire everyone. Discover how roleplaying games can help us practice becoming the person that God calls us to be.

Episcopal Youth Community

Fall Weekend

November 10–12

Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) Fall Weekend is an opportunity for youth to come together with friends from all over the Diocese and to spend time in retreat with God.

Youth in grades 6 through 12 are invited to join us for a weekend of camp fun and fellowship at Chanco on the James as we explore what it means to be in right relationship with God and others. The EYC Board has been exploring why faith matters today and is excited to share what they learned with the youth of the Diocese. During the weekend youth will be staying in conference housing and will have an opportunity to not only grow in their faith but also grow in community with activities around camp.

If you are interested in an event, or have any questions, please contact

Youth and Young Adult Missioner Megan Dern

at mdern@diosova.org or 757-213-3393.

With Fall Weekend right around the corner, we are looking for adult leaders to join the team and help make it a successful weekend. While the weekend is led and facilitated by youth from or EYC Board, we need adults to help supervise our small groups and the other fun activities we have planned for the weekend. All adults who are interested must be up to date with their SafeChurch certification and will be background checked through the Diocese. These weekends can’t run without the help of adult volunteers, so if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Youth and Young Adult Missioner Megan Dern at mdern@diosova.org.
