Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We are reproductive rights champions in New York State. In response to the abortion bans happening in Texas and across the country, I joined Governor Hochul this week to support an agenda to affirm our state's commitment to reproductive healthcare choices.
It is the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month. As we are a nation of immigrants, we celebrate the history, cultures and contributions of Hispanic-Americans.

Saying "Bans Off Our Bodies" |
|
In response to anti-abortion laws in Texas and across the country, Assembly Member Rebecca Seawright joined Governor Kathy Hochul this week for an announcement of an agenda to affirm abortion rights and cement New York's status as a place to welcome women seeking abortion care.
As part of these efforts, the Governor is directing State agencies to coordinate a statewide public information campaign, including the development of a patient bill of rights, in coordination with stakeholders. This campaign will help women know their rights and legal protections and ensure this information is accessible and widely available. |
