Municipal Court Update


Effective August 30, 2021, the Lee's Summit Municipal Court returned to its remodeled offices located at 10 NE Tudor Road. In-person court dockets will resume on September 9, 2021.

Road Construction Updates


SW Pryor Road from County Line Road to Napa Valley Drive - this closure will now extend until mid- to late-September. 


SW Ward Road from SW Lea Drive to SW Daney Drive - This section of southwest Ward Road is now expected to remain closed until mid-September, weather permitting. The delay is due to utility conflicts.

COVID-19 UPDATE

FDA Approval

The FDA approved Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for individuals ages 16 and older. The vaccine remains available for those ages 12 to 15 under emergency use authorization.


Moderna also completed its submission for full FDA approval of its COVID-19 vaccine and could be approved in the coming weeks.
