Mead workshop: There are a few spaces left for this hands-on workshop on Sunday, December 12 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. This special holiday fundraiser ($35) is open to all. Our own brew-master, Anita Hawkins, will provide materials and ingredients and guide you through the process. You will take home a bottle of the honey wine to improve with age. Cooking will take place outside over an open fire, with other preparations inside. Masks and warm clothing are both needed. RSVP to Peter Millett. Make checks payable to Manchester Historical Society, with "Mead" in the memo line. (Note that this workshop will be taking place at the same time as our regular 2nd Sunday open house.)
