Summit Service Center: Help When You Need It !

The Linda Sokol Francis Summit Service Center and Medical Respite has become a community resource—a trusted place where people come for housing needs and are also connected to other resources and services through our partners.

With low-barrier, in-person access, anyone can walk in and get help with housing, basic needs, and access to resources. In FY25, in one month alone, the center welcomed 953 visits, showing just how much individuals and families need support.

7666 W 63rd Street, Summit, IL

Walk-In Hours: Monday–Saturday, Noon–4 PM

BEDS PLUS IS HELPING MORE PEOPLE IN MORE WAYS AND YOU CAN TOO!

Donations make up nearly 20% of the support BEDS Plus receives, helping keep our costs down while providing essential items—like sandwiches, backpacks, laundry kits, and other daily necessities. These donations not only support clients in our shelters and those moving into housing but also serve as key touchpoints for individuals our street outreach team meets—helping build trust and connections that can make a real difference down the road.

Support from your workplace, school, or neighborhood illustrates community engagement with BEDS Plus and can even help secure additional grant and foundation funding for the services we provide.
