For those of you with children ages 5 to 11, today is the last day to submit proof of having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Per City mandate, unvaccinated children ages 5 to 11 will no longer be allowed to access Asphalt Green's programs or facilities. Send a copy of your child's vaccine card to [email protected].

Great Work NCAP Invitational Swimmers |
Great job to our athletes who raced at the NCAP Invitational this weekend in Maryland. AGUA swimmers raced to team records, national top ten times, championship qualifications, and more.
Derek Cox led the way by establishing a new AGUA Team record in the open 100 breaststroke with a time of 54.42. He won this event while adding medals in the 50 freestyle and 100 and 200 butterfly.
Other event winners include Eva Johnson (50 fly, 50 and 100 back), Julia Messinger-Nanni (100 breast), and Milly Birch (100 back). Milly also teamed up with Greta Messinger-Nanni, Chloe Yang, and Mayrah Johnson to earn gold in the 9-10 Girls 200 Medley relay.
Special congratulations to Milly and Bruce Qian for posting nation-leading times in their events:
- Bruce - 50 butterfly (9th)
- Milly - 50 (8th) and 100 (5th) butterfly; 50 (7th) and 100 (5th) backstroke

Tentative swimmer call times:
- Thursday timed finals: 3:30pm
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 13 and over preliminaries: 6am
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12 and under: 10:30am
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday finals: 3:30pm
Uniform requirements:
- Thursday: choice AGUA shirt
- Friday: black AGUA shirt
- Saturday: gray AGUA shirt
- Sunday: green AGUA shirt
- Swimmers may wear a team suit, solid-colored TYR suit, or a tech suit that adheres to the AGUA swimwear policy.
Please note: Swimmers are expected to compete in all finals events they qualify for.

Get Involved: Become an Official |
AGUA is in need of stroke and turn judges. Being an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and the sport. You will learn the rules of competitive swimming and gain a greater understanding of how meets work. You can take pride in getting involved, and you will be helping the sport improve.

Team Suits and Practice Equipment |
Ultimate Swim Shop, our team store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.
AGUA's TYR tech suit discount website is available here (password: AGUAXTYR). Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.
Please be advised:
Our initial order of racing caps was placed by Ultimate Swim Shop with TYR on October 6, 2021. Ultimate Swim Shop has seven teams for whom they ordered racing caps from TYR. No orders have been received due to supply chain issues. Ultimate Swim Shop will continue to ship all items received from their vendors within 24 hours of receiving them.

- All dryland practices are canceled.

- UES AG2 and AG3 NCAP participants will swim from 4pm to 5:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
- Senior Prep NCAP participants, Senior II, and National will swim from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
Saturday, December 18
- All dryland practices are canceled.
- Senior I practice is canceled.
- National, Senior II, and Senior Prep NCAP swimmers will swim from 7:30am to 9:30am at Asphalt Green's Upper East Side campus.
