AGUA Practice Updates
We ask that all families review the list below regarding daily practice policies:

  • Parents are not permitted on the pool deck at Asphalt Green at any time.
  • Swimmers may enter Asphalt Green no earlier than 15 minutes before the start of their practice. Swimmers should report to the bleachers (Upper East Side) or cellar level (Battery Park City). Swimmers ages 12+ must show their vaccine sticker to enter. Daily health screenings are not required.
  • Until further notice, all swimmers must continue to wear their masks inside Asphalt Green until they enter the water.
Action Required: MAAPP Acknowledgement
USA Swimming, AGUA's National Governing Body, requires every family to read and acknowledge the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP).

MAAPP was designed to prioritize the safety of athletes and addresses one-on-one interactions, social media and electronic communications, travel: local and team, locker rooms and changing areas, and athletic training modalities.

Acknowledgement is mandatory by all families. Please do so by Friday, October 1, 2021.
Register Now: AGUA Season Starter
Sign-ups are now open for our first meet of the 2021-2022 short course season.

  • When: October 9, 2021 to October 10, 2021
  • Where: Asphalt Green, Upper East Side
  • Who: All practice groups

The declaration deadline is Monday, September 27, 2021. Swimmers will not be entered into the meet unless registered to participate. Entry is not guaranteed after this deadline.

Register Now: AGUA Family Welcome Meetings
Save the date for our virtual fall family welcome meetings: Saturday, September 25. This year's meetings will occur on Zoom.


Zoom links for each event will be distributed via email on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the evening.
Team Suits and Practice Equipment
Ultimate Swim Shop, our Team Store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.

TYR Tech Suit Discounts

AGUA's TYR Tech Suit discount website is available here (PW:AGUAXTYR).
Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.

Upcoming Schedule Changes
Dryland practices have begun for all groups. Please note: The dryland updates below will be maintained for the entire fall schedule.

Wednesday, September 22
  • Senior Prep Gold dryland will be from 5pm to 5:45pm.

Friday, September 24
  • Senior Prep Green dryland will be from 5:45pm to 6:15pm.

Monday, September 27
  • BPC AG1 dryland will be from 5:15pm to 5:30pm.
  • Senior I dryland will be from 5:45pm to 6:30pm.

Saturday, October 2
  • Senior I and Senior II boys will swim from 7am to 9am at Sacred Heart.
  • Senior I and Senior II girls will swim from 9am to 11am at Sacred Heart.
  • Senior I and Senior II dryland is canceled.
REMINDER: Masks are required for all visitors in all common areas at Asphalt Green, including lobbies, stairways, elevators, and locker rooms. Thank you for your cooperation.
