Great Work at Chappy's Big Race
Congratulations to our athletes who raced at Chappy's Big Race in Long Island, New York. AGUA athletes worked together and raced to new personal bests and qualifying standards for Junior Olympics, Senior Mets, and Eastern Zone Sectionals.

The AGUA coaches would like to thank Satya Agashiwala, Cece Arabadjiev, Ryan Choi, Gebran Kastoun, Simone Lilavois, Denys Mialkovskyi, Oliver Shao, and Nia Zagar for standing out as R.A.D. teammates over the weekend.

  • When: November 5 to November 7, 2021
  • Where: Hofstra University
  • Who: All 9- to 12-year-old athletes and 13 and over non-Senior Mets qualifiers

Swimmer call times:
  • Friday Distance: 3:30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday ages 11 to 14 at 7:30am
  • Saturday and Sunday 10 and under, 15 and over at 1:30pm

Uniform requirements:
  • Saturday: gray AGUA shirt
  • Sunday: green AGUA shirt 
  • 14 and under swimmers are permitted to wear AGUA team suits only. Swimmers aged 15 and up are permitted to wear AGUA team suits or solid-colored, non-technical TYR suits.

Save the Date: Winter Stroke Clinics

Winter stroke clinics will be for 14 and under athletes from December 20 through December 22, 2021, and December 27 through December 30, 2021. Further details and sign-ups will be available in the coming weeks.

Get Involved: Become an Official
Metropolitan Swimming will be offering a free, online Stroke and Turn Judge clinic for anyone interested in becoming a certified USA Swimming official on Monday, November 1, 2021, at 7pm. 

Team Suits and Practice Equipment
Ultimate Swim Shop, our Team Store, is still open for gear and apparel purchases. If you haven't done so already, you will have to create an account and select “Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics” as your team. To create an account, click on “Register” (right side of page), input your information, select our team, and click “Submit”.

TYR Tech Suit Discounts

AGUA's TYR Tech Suit discount website is available here (PW:AGUAXTYR).
Please note, all swimmers must adhere to the AGUA tech suit policy. Tech suits are only permitted at specified meets throughout the season. Check with your lead group coach if you have any questions. Please review the AGUA tech suit policy here.
