Learn more about WEAVE, a Sacramento-based nonprofit that provides support and resources to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, at a virtual information session on Wednesday, November 3, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm via Zoom (register now). Good Wine, Good Cheer, and Good Deeds

You are cordially invited to join the Los Rios Colleges Foundation and event partner Acheson Wine Company for an evening of wine tasting – and support American River College and Sacramento City College nursing students as they prepare to graduate and begin their new careers! Join us on Giving Tuesday, November 30, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, for "Drink Good Wine, Do a Good Deed" as Brian Scott, Certified Sommelier and Co-Founder of Acheson Wine Company, will guide participants virtually through a wine tasting (a two-bottle wine sampler will be delivered/shipped to your front door in advance of the event!).

The Promise to Career Nursing Scholarship Fund provides "finish line" scholarships to students in the ARC and SCC Nursing programs that help pay for state testing and licensing requirements ($500 per person) upon graduation. New nurses are critical right now to help fight the pandemic and to address the nursing shortage in our region. This event will help meet the Foundation's goal to provide a scholarship to every graduating student this December. For questions, please contact Victoria Austin at [email protected]. We hope to see you on November 30!
Update your info
Help Keep Our Directory Updated

As you know, it's very important to keep your directory information updated as both students and employees use the website's Faculty and Staff Directory to contact those at the college. It's vital that you take a look at your information at least once a semester and let us know if there is an error that would prevent someone from being able to contact you. Also, consider adding a headshot photo as it helps folks to put a name with a face, especially when working remotely (view photo tips). To update your directory information or upload a headshot photo, please fill out the Marketing and Website Support Request form.
