The Summer 2022 schedule is now available on the ARC website!

Make sure you are ready to pick your classes and check out the summer course offerings today. Your enrollment appointment date will be available in your eServices on February 25 and enrollment will begin March 7.

Be sure to make a counseling appointment now if you want to speak with someone about what classes to take over the summer.
Graduation 2022 In-Person!

We are excited to announce that we are planning for an in-person 2022 Graduation Ceremony during the evening of May 18. The graduation ceremony will be held outdoors. More information about signing up for the ceremony and ceremony details will be provided in the weeks to come, so please continue to check your email. The in-person ceremony is contingent upon the continued decrease in COVID-19 cases in the region. Should we see another COVID surge we will consider moving the graduation to a curbside event.

Don’t forget to submit your Grad Petition if you are planning on completing your associate degree or certificate requirements this semester. The deadline is one week away - Friday, March 4!

Food on the Main Campus
ARC has several food options on the main campus. First, a “vending market” with a variety of “grab and go” offerings is available in the Student Center Cafeteria from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Second, Drewski’s will have their food truck near the Diane Bryant STEM Innovation Center from Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Also, the Oak Cafe Bakery is offering beverages and pastries on Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Speech is Now Communication
ARC's Speech program is now Communication - same great classes, same great professors, just a new name! The new program name better reflects the diversity of classes offered by the program. The courses still transfer and apply to your degrees and certificates, still have the same numbers and titles, but now you will find them under “C” for Communication rather than “S” for Speech. You may have noticed the difference in class titles in the Summer 2022 class schedule. Enrollment in summer classes begins March 7 and classes start June 6. For more information on the program, visit Communication Programs and Majors.
Internship Info Month

All students are invited to join us for a month of districtwide events hosted by the Los Rios Work Experience and Internship Program from each Los Rios campus. Our virtual internship information sessions will be hosted at 12 pm and will feature a virtual employer information session or skills workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about available, quality, local internships and the organizations that are offering them. Our kick-off event on March 1 called Internships 101 will help prepare you for the events happening all month.
Women's History Month

March is Women's History Month, a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture, and society. This is a dedicated month to reflect on the often-overlooked contributions of women to United States history. From Abigail Adams to Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth to Rosa Parks, the timeline of women’s history milestones stretches back to the founding of the United States. Let’s come together in community for a series of events celebrating women’s history throughout March.
