Find Opportunities to Connect This Semester

Virtual events and workshops will be held this fall and are open to all students! You can find everything from help with transferring and financial aid to fun virtual events to connect with students, faculty, and staff. Check the events calendar for upcoming opportunities and how to participate.
Remember: Submit Proof of Your
First Shot by Sept. 1
All students who provide evidence of receiving their first shot by September 1, 2021 will receive $100. Login to eServices right away to upload your vaccination information.
 
All students are eligible, including those who received their vaccination(s) before the requirement was put into place. Payments will be issued after September 1.

Vaccinated? Pick Up a Pin
Stop by the Portable Village at the main campus to pick up a complimentary lapel pin showing your vaccinated status. There's a tent near the Ranch House. Thank you for doing your part to keep our college community safe and healthy!

Make Sure to Wear Your Mask Correctly!
Remember, masks are required for all students, faculty, and staff in any indoor space in Los Rios regardless of vaccination status.
 
When wearing your mask, remember that it should:
  • Completely cover your nose and mouth
  • Fit snugly against the sides of your face and not have gaps
  • Have a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask
 
Your mask should not be worn:
  • On your forehead
  • Under your nose
  • Only on your nose 
  • On your chin
  • Dangling from one ear
Upcoming Key Dates

  • August 30 - The deadline to return textbooks or class materials to the bookstore and receive a refund (the materials must be in their original condition)
  • September 1 - Start of University of California, Transfer Admissions Guarantee Fall Application Period (open until September 30)
  • September 3 - Deadline to drop full term classes and receive tuition refund
  • September 5 - Last day to enroll in full term classes
  • September 5 - Last day to drop a full term class without notation on record

All ARC students are invited to a free food distribution on August 31, 9:00 to 11:00 am at the main campus.

Chromebook Computer and Internet Support
Need a computer device or internet for courses? Many ARC students are eligible for a granted (you keep it) Chromebook computer and internet support. To receive a grant students must enroll in 6 units or more and complete the FAFSA (as Promise eligible) or the CA Dream Act Application. Check your eServices message center for the application. If you do not meet these specific requirements, students can borrow a Chromebook from the library; to borrow a Library Chromebook submit this form - ARC Library - Chromebook Loan Request.
Library

The ARC library will have extended service window hours the first two weeks of the semester to give students more time to pick up requested materials. From August 23 to September 2, 2021, materials can be picked up Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 8:00 pm.

For the rest of the semester, materials may be picked up on Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
