October 1 Vaccination Deadline



Don’t forget to upload proof of your first COVID Vaccination by the October 1 deadline if you are or plan to use any campus facilities including for in-person classes, services or athletics. To provide evidence of your vaccination, go to eServices and click the “COVID-19 Vaccination Status” tile on the home page. Visit the vaccination webpage for more information.
Plan Your Transfer with Transfer Week!

The Los Rios 2021 Virtual Transfer Week is next week, September 20 - 23 on Zoom! Learn about transferring to more than 50 colleges and universities during virtual sessions hosted by university representatives. The sessions will cover information regarding the application process, financial aid, programs, and scholarships.

Feria de Educación and the Transfer Corner will be held virtually on October 1 and 2, 2021. The Transfer Corner will help students get ready to transfer to a four-year university. Suicide Prevention and Awareness – Friday, Sept. 17 at 12pm
We can all take part in preventing suicide and saving lives. Join us for an important discussion that will provide information and resources on suicide prevention. Kristen Buglione, Healthcare Literacy Lead at TimelyMD will moderate a discussion with expert panelists: Kathryn Falbo-Woodson, MSW, LCSW, psychotherapist and owner of Forsythia Counseling, PLLC and Dr. Tanya Bass, Senior Manager of Health Equity at Active Minds. 

Optimizing Mental and Emotional Well-Being – Friday, Sept. 24 at 12pm
We’re more comfortable than ever talking about mental health - but how does it impact your emotional well-being? Join us as we deepen the conversation around the two. Dr. Nirmal (Nim) Patel, M.D., M.P.H., Senior Vice President of Care Transformation at TimelyMD, will moderate a discussion with expert panelists: Scott Swartzwelder, Ph.D., Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University and Dr. Andrew Kim, M.D., Director of Psychiatry at TimelyMD.

American Medical Student Association
