Fall Schedule is Now Available
Get a head start on planning your fall semester and check out the newly released Fall 2022 class schedule, which includes a mixture of both in-person and online classes. Check eServices now for your priority enrollment appointment day/time. While there, make sure to also complete your Supplemental Enrollment form under "Tasks" so you are ready to enroll (it just takes a few minutes). Fall enrollment begins Monday, April 18. |

Black Student Success Week
Black Student Success Week returns April 25-29, inviting students from across the California Community College system to examine the resources and programs that support Black student success. This year’s theme is “A Vision for Black Student Success: Creating a New Landscape to Succeed.” The 2022 Black Student Success Week will focus on new approaches to ensure Black and African American students succeed at California Community Colleges as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Student Elections: Get to Know the Candidates American River College will hold a Student Elections Candidate Forum on Tuesday, April 19, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm via Zoom. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the candidates running for student leadership positions for the 2022-2023 academic year on ARC’s Student Senate and Clubs and Events Board, or as the Los Rios Student Trustee, representing all students across the district. Elections will be held on April 26-27 online via eServices. |

Transfer Student Celebration
All transfer students are invited to the virtual Los Rios Transfer Celebration 2022 on Wednesday, May 11 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This event honors all Los Rios students who will be transferring to a four-year university by Fall 2022. Students are encouraged to invite their family and friends to attend the virtual celebration which will include entertainment, a keynote speaker, and most importantly, honoring our transfer scholars. Volunteer at Mercy Hospital of Folsom |

FLC’s community partner, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, is seeking Los Rios students to volunteer in its Emergency Department (ED). This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a hospital setting, build a relationship with healthcare professionals, gain valuable contacts in the healthcare industry, and receive a letter of completion upon finishing your 1 year/100 hour commitment. To apply: - Go to the Volunteer at Mercy Hospital of Folsom webpage and under “Join Our Team” you will be able to access both the ED job description and application.
