Happy 32nd Birthday, Tool Caddy!

The Renzetti Tool Caddy has been a staple on tiers' desks around the world since 1989. Like everything Andy Renzetti designs, he sought the advice of Bob Popovic and Lefty Kreh. The goal was to create a simplistic organizer, not only to allow the fly tier to have their tools organized and handy but also to stay balanced and stable on the desk. The Renzetti Tool Caddy accomplished all of that and became the caddy that everybody wanted. 

The Tool Caddy is not just functional to the fly tier, it is functional to rod builders, machinists, labs, office desks, hobbyists, etc. Designing tools that are functional and aesthetically appealing is what we do.

Ambassador Spotlight: Nick Groves
Nick grew up on The Grand River in Fergus Ontario Canada and was drawn to fly fishing and tying at the age of 14. Like so many others, tying flies and fly fishing quickly became a passion and at 15 he began working for the local fly shop where he was mentored by some of the best anglers in Ontario. He continued in the industry part-time through his years at the University of Guelph where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree.  

In recent years Nick has traveled far and wide in search of next-level fish. While his heart is set on big fish and big flies, he is very well-rounded in all aspects of fly tying and fishing. Developing, innovating, and proving new fly concepts on the water has become his total obsession. 

Nick has also had direct input and influence into the design of some current product offerings at Renzetti, and we are happy to have him on our Ambassador roster.
