The Fall Local Government Workshop (LGW) is right around the corner. Remember to save the dates, October 18 through November 5. We will kick off the LGW with a special "meet GFL" session where you can hear from each of the staff members on our backgrounds and what we're working on, meet the new director, and chat with all of us (online).
Other sessions include topics on:
- affordable clean energy (Community Choice Aggregation)
- solar energy siting
- flood resiliency
- the ongoing legacy of redlining and equity issues in zoning laws
- pro tips for making the site plan review process work better for your community
- zoning board overview
- many more!
Sessions will take place online either in the middle of the day or late afternoon. The Fall 2021 LGW will again be free of charge to attendees and is a service G/FLRPC can provide through the financial support of our nine member counties.
Registration will be open by September 20! Look for a special eblast announcing registration!
As always, ideas, comments, and questions are always welcome. Please contact Jason Haremza at jharemza@gflrpc.org or 585-454-0190 x12.
