We often hear the platitude God will not give you more than you can handle. The truth is, we will at times be confronted with more than we can handle on our own. That is why God gave Himself to us, and why we are meant to live in a relationship with Him.
When life becomes too much for us to handle it is an opportunity for God to reveal His greatness and majesty. It doesn't mean all will be well, but it does mean that our faith will be for His eternal glory. When you are faced with more than you can handle, trust God, humble yourself, and praise Him.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Peter tells us to cast our cares on Him. As you face challenges, commit to press forward into the difficulty and raise your hands to God. Surrender yourself to God's faithful care and praise Him for His greatness.
