Yes, that Stormy Daniels. But this movie isn’t what you think. It is a straight-up horror movie.
All while working in the adult entertainment industry, including with an impressive writing and directing resume, she was also shopping screenplays to "mainstream" producers but found her background in adult films was an immediate stonewall despite skill or script quality.
In 2024, it was time for a new tactic (and name change to S.D. Barrett). She joined forces with her cinematographer husband R.A. Barrett (Blade Barrett) to prove what they could do and to overcome the discrimination. Together, they decided to self-produce the suspense thriller Decoy, comedy series Woke Up Late, and the horror film Wrecked. It should not matter where you come from, only where you are going and how good you are at getting there.
Synopsis
The film follows a classic coming-of-age story that morphs into a gory urban legend, centering on a 20-year-old bitchy cheerleader named Lily. Things take a twisted turn when her hidden, evil, psychopathic nature is revealed.
