West Avenue Phase II Project

Two Week Look Ahead Schedule

Notice date: Nov. 3, 2025

We've summarized the contractor's expected schedule through November 16, 2025. Please see it below, broken into the different areas of work. The contractor's full two-week look ahead schedule may be found online. It outlines ongoing and upcoming construction activities, including where crews are expected to be working and what type of work will be performed.

You can view the current schedule anytime under the “Two-Week Look Aheads” tab on the City’s project page: West Avenue Project Page

Important Parking Notice: As the contractor continues sanitary sewer installation along Lincoln Road, additional sections of on-street parking will be removed. The first area affected will be Lincoln Road between Bay Road and Lincoln Court. After that, parking on the south side of Lincoln Road near the street end will also be removed.

Thank you again for your continued support and patience as work progresses in the neighborhood.

Here’s a quick recap of expected upcoming work:

Segment 2

  • Locating underground utilities
  • Sanitary sewer installation (Lincoln Road west of Bay Road)
  • 20-inch water main installation (east side of Bay Road and sidewalk)
  • Water quality well construction (Lincoln Road east of West Avenue)
  • Upcoming water quality well construction (Lincoln Road west of West Avenue)
  • Water service connections to buildings (Lincoln Road and Bay Road)

Segment 3

West Ave. from just south of Lincoln Rd. to 16 St.; and 16 St. between Alton Rd. and Bay Rd:

  • Locating underground utilities

New Water Main Testing

Testing of the newly installed water main is currently underway throughout the work zone. You may notice small taps of running water. Please do not touch, turn off or tamper with these taps. These tests are required by the Florida Department of Health and must run their full course without interruption. If they are stopped, the contractor (Ric-Man Construction Florida) would need to restart the process, which would cause delays. This testing is an important step to ensure the neighborhood’s water system is safe and ready for use and we appreciate your cooperation and patience while it is completed.

Safety Reminder

Your safety is our top priority. As work continues throughout the West Avenue Phase II Project, please don’t enter construction zones or move any signs, cones, or barricades. These safety measures are there to protect you and help keep the project moving smoothly. Staying informed will be key throughout the construction process, and our team remains committed to supporting the community every step of the way. Should you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
