Christian Formation Volunteer Workshop September 6

All volunteers who work with children, youth, and adults are invited to a training day hosted by the Christian Formation Committee on Saturday, September 6 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. If you are a volunteer who teaches Sunday school, leads a Bible study, mentors or helps with youth group, or works with any sort of student or adult group at your church then this training is for you!

You can choose the location most convenient to you from the following list:

Reconciliation, San Antonio
St. Barnabas, Fredericksburg
St. John's, McAllen
St. Philip's, Beeville

The Rt. Rev. Angela Maria Cortiñas, Bishop Suffragan of West Texas, will visit St. Christopher's, Bandera on Sunday, August 24.

CLERGY UPATE

A Celebration of New Ministry and Installation for the Rev. Joseph Denton Dewey as Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio will take place Friday, September 19 at 6:00 p.m., led by the Rt. Rev. Dr. David G. Read, D.D. Clergy are invited to vest with red stoles.
