The Effects of Widowhood
Widowhood, or the disruption of marriage due to the death of the spouse, is a source of great emotional pain and stress. Widows (females whose spouses have died) and widowers (males whose spouses have died) may grieve and mourn their loss for years.

From Dr. Frederick K. Price, Jr & Ever Increasing Faith Ministry Family we send you a Merry Christmas
| The Question of Faith - Part 2 |
For in it the righteousness of God -- for in the gospel of Christ – is revealed.
Only in the gospel of Christ is God's righteousness revealed.
What is God's righteousness?
Here's a better question. Who is God's righteousness?
The righteousness of God are those who believe in the power of the gospel.
If you're saved, if you acknowledge and confess that Christ is Savior and Lord, if you have believed in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, well, my friend, you are the righteousness of God.
Second Corinthians 5:21: For He (the Father) made him (the Son) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become . . . .
Become what?
. . . that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. You and I are not living this life attempting to live righteously. We are not living this life trying to become more righteous daily. No, no, no. We have been made the righteousness of God.
The righteousness of God. That is who we are. Your righteousness cannot increase. Fruits can increase and abound. The works of righteousness can be manifold. But for you, being the righteousness of God, there is no increase or decrease. It's what He has made you to be if you believe in the power of the gospel of Christ.
If you are saved, you are the righteousness of God. And immediately, the truest part of you – your spirit – is made righteous.

The Heavenly Fight Card
Heavenly creatures are a trip! Studying them is also personal. Paul did not name them for our entertainment but to alert us to the unseen battle: “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12). More on this later.

Power of Prayer
Many believers are concerned about unsaved family members. Pray for your family. I pray for my family all the time. I believe they are all saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, healed, and living godly lives. Even if they are not, that is my confession of faith for them. I thank God for sending forth laborers to minister to them so they will know about Him and that they will be delivered from whatever is keeping them in bondage. You have to learn to do that for your family. You have to be diligent and disciplined to do it. After all, you may be the only one who is praying for them. Satan doesn’t want you to pray or get into the Word, but you have to be disciplined to do it.
Prayer is so very important. You might think your job and the other things you are involved in are what is sustaining you. But you have to know that it is God who is totally behind any blessings you get. It is up to you to do your part, and God will do His. I’m a living witness. I came from poverty to where I am now, and it was rough. But God brought us out of every situation. Third John 2 says:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
That is God’s desire for all of His children, and He will provide you with whatever you need. But you have to take it step at a time. He knows whether you are “shucking and jiving.” He knows whether you are just serving Him for the blessings or whether you are serving Him because you love Him and you want the very best of God in your life.

An interview with A. Michael Evans, vice president of marketing, at Crenshaw Christian Center’s outreach aka Ever Increasing Faith Ministries Marketing & Media Division, and executive director of Cruises and Tours.
In 2019 Crenshaw Christian Center complied with the state regulation to modify it’s in-person operation to offer Sunday Service, Bible studies, both morning and evening via online. It was decided that all outreach activities to the members and community would be discontinued until further notice. At that time there was a cruise scheduled for Apostle Frederick K.C. Price with Dr. Betty R. Price, including Pastor Frederick K. Price Jr. and Lady Angel Price, for EIF Ministries for October 2019. Many things had changed over the years, which leads us to October 4, 2022, and the Holy Land Cruise.
Mr. Evans began establishing crusades and cruises for Crenshaw Christian Center more than 40 years ago.
Question: What was it like cruising without Apostle Price this time around, and what is it like working with Pastor Frederick versus Apostle Price on cruises? How are they different?
AME: Apostle Price was his own man. Pastor Fred is not an exact reproduction of Apostle Price. He sees things in a different way. He is a lot younger. He is riskier in some ways and seems to have more fun. Apostle Price was always dressed to the nines. It didn’t matter where he was. He was always Mr. Clean. Even when he was at the beach, he was Mr. Clean.
Pastor not so much. He has a relaxed approach. He is just a guy out there having fun. He is what – 42-ish? I am almost twice his age. So from my perspective, he has a more youthful vibe about him. The way he dresses, the way he talks, the way he acts.
His entire demeanor is different. He reaches out to [his sister] Mrs. Evans for most things before he reaches out to me. It’s easier at times to receive from her.
| | Struggling with Mental Health Doesn’t Make You a Bad Christian |
I find it hard to confess that I was emotionally wounded. Because you might question my faith.
Worse yet, you’d probably accuse me of not trusting God enough or tell me that worry is a sin, so I should just stop worrying.
Because if I told you I had been feeling numb, lonely or depressed, you might accuse me of not praying enough, reading the Bible enough or applying it correctly.
So, you might be tempted to think that people who read the Bible every day and trust in Jesus and not drugs certainly shouldn’t be suffering from depression.
But it isn’t true.
I’m here to say mental health issues happen to everyday people—even to believers who are strong in faith and have friends, because it happened to me.
The bad part was the sense of shame some Christians made me feel about my emotional struggles, but as I discovered how God views healing, I realized it wasn’t my faith that was flawed; it was their views toward mental health and faith.
| | Five Little Foxes of Faith |
| | |
Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines . . . (Song of Solomon 2:15).
“We may make every effort to not let major spiritual issues trip us up, but usually it is the ‘little foxes’ which cause us to stumble,” Apostle Price writes in the introduction to the book, Five Little Foxes of Faith. “What we as believers need to realize is that those overlooked faults can nullify our faith as easily as those larger issues.”
What are these five little foxes? He lists them:
- Unforgiveness
- Worry
- Fear
- The battle for the mind
- Losing hope
If one considers each of these issues, the problems present themselves clearly.
In the first chapter, titled Unforgiveness – A Snare for Our Faith, Apostle Price points the reader to what Jesus says in Mark 11:25-26:
“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
“But if you do not forgive neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Apostle Price writes:
“Sometimes, without realizing it, you can have unforgiveness in your heart, and it will stop your faith every time.”
