Learning Community Time

There is a lot happening with World Mission within the Presbyterian Church (USA)! Our September Learning Community Time will bring the Presbytery up to speed on the state of World Mission within our denomination, and help us discover ways to get involved in World Mission. We're excited to welcome two expert presenters: Cindy Corell, a Global Ecumenical Liaison (GEL) with the PC(USA), and Dr. James Taneti, Assistant Professor of World Christianity and Director of the Syngman Rhee Global Mission Center at Union Presbyterian Seminary. This will be a great opportunity for anyone in your congregations who is interested in World Mission to attend!

Current PC(USA) Initiatives & Plan: Cindy Corell, Global Ecumenical Liaison, PC(USA)

Cindy Corell is a Global Ecumenical Liaison serving in the U.S. She served alongside the people of Haiti and later in the Dominican Republic as a mission co-worker. Before entering the mission field, she worked as a reporter and editor at her local newspaper for 28 years. Since returning from the Dominican Republic, she settled in Staunton, VA, not far from where she grew up. Cindy looks forward to connecting Presbyterians to both global and local mission partnerships and telling the stories of the relationships that result.
