Vista's Fiestas Patrias - A Celebration of Community

Join us for our second annual Vista's Fiestas Patrias, a vibrant celebration of Hispanic heritage in Vista!

When: Sunday, September 14 | 12:00 - 4:00pm

Where: Linda Rhoades Recreation Center | 600 N Santa Fe Ave.

What to Expect:

• Live entertainment like Mariachi and local Ballet Folklorico groups

• Grito de Independencia Ceremony with Mexican Consulate

• Kids Play Area by Jump & Splash Party Rentals

• Kids Craft Area

• Vendors and community resources

• Soccer Tournament in the morning led by Vista Storm

Business Survey on Federal Funding & Trade Policy

The County of San Diego Office of Economic Development and Government Affairs is conducting a survey to collect feedback from local businesses on the impacts of changes to federal funding and trade policies. The insights gathered will help inform elected officials, support the development of business advocacy strategies, and, where feasible, guide the creation of business assistance programs. KIN Project - Community Researchers for Food Justice

Community Researchers for Food Justice is a year-long community-granting program co-designed by the YMCA of San Diego County, the San Diego County Childhood Obesity Initiative’s Community Council, and UC San Diego Center for Community Health within the Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science. It supports local leaders and community groups to design and lead their own research projects that advance food justice. Learn more and apply here.
