2025 Velocity Summer Internship Program | | |
Last week we hosted a reception for the participants of our 4th year of the Velocity Summer Internship Program. For over 8 weeks, these rising seniors from local high schools were interns at local businesses and organizations. These students were partnered with businesses based on their career goals ranging from childcare to dentistry to marketing and everything in between.
This program is a partnership between the Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Vista Unified School District.

As families prepare for a new school year, the need for consistency and care becomes even more important—especially for children experiencing homelessness. A warm, home-cooked meal at the end of the day offers comfort, stability, and the energy needed to succeed in the classroom and beyond. If cooking a meal isn’t possible, you can still support by donating gift cards or contributing through our website—every dollar helps us cover uncovered dates.
