The North Coastal Prevention Coalition’s (NCPC) annual 420 Remix Public Service Announcement (PSA) Contest has officially launched! This year’s theme is “Be Smart, Don’t Start,” inviting students to use their creativity to promote healthy, substance-free choices through a 30-second reel, 2-minute video or still image, PSA. Student Incentives Include:
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $350
3rd Place: $150
Bonus Incentive: The first 30 entries will receive a movie ticket.
| | | | Call for Artists: "Kites Over Vista" Exhibition | The Vista Public Arts Commission is now accepting artist proposals for "Kites Over Vista" 2026, a temporary public art installation designed to elevate Vista’s creative identity and showcase bold, imaginative artwork in the heart of the community. Through a juried selection process, up to six artists will be chosen to participate in this dynamic exhibit. At least five selected sculptures will be prominently displayed in public areas throughout downtown Vista for a minimum of 12 months, with ownership of the artwork remaining with the artists.
