So you might remember how lucky I was to find my lost glasses at the H&H show several weeks ago. I really chalk the find up to the wonderful people I met while looking for them… You might not have noticed my lack of glasses while in the shop this past week. Keeping in mind they were found in a convention center, it seems implausible that they are now missing somewhere in the shop! I’ve looked, my sweetie has looked, staff members rolled their eyes as they looked… I gave in today and made a trip to the eye doctor - new glasses coming in seven to ten days! I figure the old ones will magically appear in about three days. This month's glasses challenges may just have been the universe's way of telling me I need new ones - I should be able to clearly see my unmatched seams soon…
Wishing you straight seams and perfect points,
Mary Beth

Oh my goodness - another month, another block! On Saturday (5-30-26) those in our end of the month pieced Saturday Sampler group will meet at 9:00am. Once again, we will take a look at new things in the shop, talk about upcoming classes and events, and then move on to the new block kit. This time we will be talking about working with smaller cut pieces of fabric - how to keep things just as well pieced as when you use larger cuts! Be sure to bring your block from last month - we can’t wait to see it!
| Also, on Saturday we will host the next Stash Management Club meeting. There will be new organization tips shared, along with a pattern for another project that will put your collection to use. Again, don’t forget your show and tell - your pieces are always amazing! | |

We will share stories, goodies, and thank you gifts - we so hope you will be able to attend. Please RSVP by June 24th

QC Spring Market Party!
Saturday ~ June 6th
Market Lecture ~ 11:00am
New things greeted us at every turn at the H&H show in Chicago! From notions, to books and patterns, and fabrics, the quilting industry has something fresh and innovative for each of us! By the first Saturday in June we will have received many of the new goodies and will have stitched some of the newest fabrics into inspiring shop samples. I have two new tools to share - demonstrating them will help you see their possibilities. Of course, there will be door prizes to win, and at 11:00 there will be a power point featuring photos from the show and stories about our adventures. We hope you will be able to join us. Please pre-register for the lecture so we can be sure to have enough goodies to share!
| | There is literally new fabric everywhere in the shop! I’ve decided it’s easiest tonight to share the collection currently being checked in and cut! QT Fabrics Serenity collection features truly outstanding designs, the work of artist and illustrator Dan Morris. Striking dragonfly, and lotus images are offered in deep blue, turquoise and peach. This group is sure to yield vibrant, yet elegant quilts, bags, and garments! Fabric $13.49 per yard | | Tilda fans are going to be excited - Monday’s the day! The stunning new Something Blue collection makes its debut! We hope to have the bolts, and a gorgeous little sample, front and center Monday morning!!!! Not to be missed! | | Also, Tilda solids can be found in the shop at the moment. They are not currently in a terribly sensible spot, but I hope to have them better displayed by Monday, as well! | | Please note ~ current shop hours are 10:00am-4:00pm Monday thru Saturday. | |
