Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management Program: Two-Year Certificate

Last week, on October 2, 2024, we celebrated the start of the Fall session of the Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management Program: Two-Year Certificate Program. We are excited to welcome students from across the United States, the Bahamas, and Finland.


The Two-Year Certificate Program at the Rutgers Professional Golf Turf Management Program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the turf industry. Our program focuses on hands-on experience, expert instruction, and networking opportunities, all of which can contribute to your professional success.


Whether you aspire to work for a golf course, park, sports field, or any other turf-related establishment, our program is tailored to help you achieve your goals and become a leader in turf management.

2025 - 2026 Two-Year Certificate Program Details

Course Dates: 

Winter 2025: January 6 - March 19, 2025

Fall 2025: October 1- December 12, 2025

Winter 2026: January 5 - March 18, 2026


Time: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm 


Location: New Brunswick, NJ


Application Fee: $50 (non-refundable)


Registration Fee: $5,995 for each 10-week session


200-hour Internship: You may complete your internship by working on the golf course at which you are currently employed, or we can assist you in locating an internship position.

  •  Current resume or CV
  •  Letter of intent
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • A copy of your high school or college transcripts (GED certificates accepted


3. Pay the $50 non-refundable application fee
