A message from the Rector
Dear Friends,
This Sunday we will welcome the Choir School of Newport County as the guest musicians in our worship at the 10am service. This group of talented young choristers, under the direction of Peter Berton, will use our new building for their Monday evening rehearsals beginning this month, and will join us occasionally at worship.
I’ve invited Dr. Jennifer Berton, who sings in our Trinity choir and leads the Angel Choir division of the Choir School, to be our preacher on Sunday morning. Jenn is dynamic and joyful, and will deliver a beautiful message about the transformative power of music. I am so excited that you will hear Jenn preach, and the children sing this Sunday.
Please read on about the many things we have coming up at Trinity. We have been hard at work preparing for a glorious fall season, and there are so many ways for you to be part of the life of our church!
With gratitude,
Meaghan

Trinity Outdoors enjoyed picture-perfect late-August weather for a 12-mile out-and back bike ride on the East Bay Bike Path this past weekend. Excellent scenery and good vibes. Riding were Wayne Porter, Jim Patterson, MaryJo Carr, Donna & George Ellis, Bill Dowling, and Bob Smith. We expect to be pursuing some additional adventures as we move into fall - maybe adding a nice (flat!) walk in the woods to the mix. Please stay tuned, and consider joining us - we’d love the company!
For more information, please contact Wayne, wrporter65@gmail.com, Jim, jamesgrahampatterson@gmail.com, or Chris, chrismyers@cox.net.

Altar Society
The Altar Society is looking for donations of small to medium vases or vessels! Each Sunday after services, the altar flowers are delivered to Trinity parishioners who might need of a "boost" to brighten their day, letting them know that we are thinking of them and that they are missed amongst us, or to help them celebrate a special occasion. If flowers are going to homes, they typically go out in "sleeves", but to hospitals or nursing homes, we use the small vases.
Should you find yourselves with any spare vases that you are willing to part with, they can be dropped off into the sacristy on any Sunday morning or whenever the church is open, or to the hallway of Honyman.
We thank you! ~Altar Society

Available Columbarium Niche
Members of Trinity Church,
Columbarium niche number 7 has become available. The cost for this niche is $2850/person. The cost for carving the appropriate lettering and dates on the stone and opening and closing the niche shall be the responsibility of the purchaser, their family or their estate.
Since several individuals have expressed interest in the available niche, those interested should notify the Senior Warden, in writing, by September 8th.
