The Trinity Church e-Tower

for

Eleventh Sunday after Pentecost

August 9, 2026

8 AM and 10 AM Worship

Dear Friends,

I took this picture on August 1st, 2025 - my first day as your rector at Trinity Church. If you look very closely, you can see that the scaffolding was being constructed to begin work on the steeple restoration. I knew that working at Trinity would be full of adventure and excitement, but I couldn't have imagined just how full the coming year would be.

This year on August 1st I was enjoying some time off with my family, during which I reflected on the past year. Our year at Trinity Church has been so full and it has been so good. We've lived 5 years of life in 365 days. We have celebrated and grown and worshipped and fundraised together. We have commended beloved members of our church to God and celebrated their lives among us as we dried our tears (just as we will do tomorrow when we gather to remember The Rev. Alan Neale). We have completed important work on our property while planning for our Tricentennial Organ. We've had three - 3! - incredible parish administrators in one year, all of whom have served this church with dedication, care, and joy.

I also spent my time away feeling grateful for our incredible parish leadership, especially our vestry and staff, who care so deeply for Trinity that I knew I could unplug for time away without concern for the well-being of our church.

I have returned from vacation refreshed and excited for my second year as your rector and all that lies ahead for Trinity. It is such a privilege to serve this church alongside all of you. We are ready for what God has in store for us next, and I am so grateful to be with you as your priest.

With gratitude,

Meaghan
