The Trinity Church e-Tower

for

Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost

September 6, 2026

8 AM and 10 AM Worship

Dear Friends,

In church on Sunday we will celebrate the Feast of Creation, also known as the Feast of Creation in Christ. Many Christian churches around the world celebrate this feast day on September 1st, or the Sunday following, and our Bishop has given us permission to celebrate this feast day at Trinity.

In addition to the celebration of this feast day, churches around the world are welcome to acknowledge a Season of Creation, which extends to Sunday October 4th. That is the Sunday we plan to gather on the lawn outside for our 10am service, and invite our pets to church for the Blessing of the Animals, so it seems only appropriate that we mark the next few weeks of worship together with an acknowledgement of this season, and the beautiful creation made possible through Christ.

On Monday everyone is invited to join our Trinity families and Sunday School students on Third Beach for a beach picnic and gathering. It's a perfect moment to help kick off the season of creation, the theme for which is Living Water. See below for details.

Please join us at worship Sunday, or on the beach on Monday evening. At both times God will be glorified!

With gratitude,

Meaghan

Silver Tea

Attention Silver Tea Crafters!

It’s hard to believe that summer is nearing the end and it’s already time for us to start thinking about one of Trinity’s longstanding traditions, our annual Silver Tea! This Christmas in Newport event hosted by Trinity will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 1– 4 PM in the Hawes Room.

Do you have a secret talent that we don’t know about? Do you do needlecraft, sewing, knitting, painting, woodworking, jewelry making, ceramics, mixed media, or any other type of craft? If so, we are looking for your donation of handicrafts to be for sale on the artisan table at the tea!

If possible, please join us on Tuesday afternoons, beginning on September 15th, at 12:30 PM in the Hawes Room. Either bring your own project to work on and enjoy good company and fellowship, or help us to complete items that will be available for sale on that day.

Consider joining us!
