- N. Clark Street from W. Newport Avenue to W. Buckingham Place will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
- The sidewalk on the west side of N. Clark Street, south of W. Roscoe Street, will be closed until the work activity is completed.
- The sidewalk on the east side of N. Clark Street will remain open at all times.
- Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
W. Roscoe Street
- W. Roscoe Street from N. Sheffield Avenue to east of the CTA tracks will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
- The sidewalk on the south side of W. Roscoe Street, west of N. Clark Street, will be closed until the work activity is completed.
- The sidewalk on the north side of W. Roscoe Street will remain open at all times.
- Access to businesses and residences will be maintained at all times.
- The alley on the south side of W. Roscoe Street, just east of the CTA Tracks, will remain accessible.
- There will be noise while work is being performed. Noise will include:

| | DPD Announces Grant Opportunity | | |
The Department of Planning and Development is accepting applications for Community Development Grants of more than $250,000 until February 16, 2024.
DPD is periodically accepting applications for grant funding to support local commercial, mixed-use, and light manufacturing development. All are welcome to apply. City staff will prioritize projects in areas of Chicago where there is a history of disinvestment or limited private investment.
Eligibility
Grant funding can be used for pre-development, construction, or renovation costs for permanent capital improvement projects.
Open to community developers, business owners and entrepreneurs, and property owners. Site control is preferred, but not required.
Residential-only development is not eligible, but mixed-use projects are eligible.
Priority will be given to catalytic projects with a strong local impact, that are able to leverage local talents, capacities, and institutions to strengthen and contribute to the community.
Applicants from all areas of Chicago are eligible to apply. Priority will be given for projects in historically disinvested areas as well as projects that build upon existing efforts, such as the City's INVEST South/West initiative and community safety initiatives.
Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate momentum and are expected to break ground within six months of acceptance into this grant program.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. The current funding round is accepting applications until February 16th, 2024.
Community Development Grants support small businesses, nonprofits, and property owners for local commercial, mixed-use, and light manufacturing development.
