Belmont Sheffield Music Festival Celebrates 40 Years!


This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Belmont Sheffield Music Festival—making it bigger, bolder, and more unforgettable than ever. As we gear up for an epic Memorial Day Weekend celebration, we’re also taking a moment to reflect on how far this iconic neighborhood festival has come. This year's headliners include Chicago favorites 16 Candles, Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute, and Rod Tuffcurls & the Bench Press! Dust off those dancing shoes, and get ready for festies with your besties.

Istmo Mezcal Tasting Supper Club

Some like it smoky. On Tuesday, June 10th, Istmo (3231 N Clark St) is hosting the June Lakeview East Supper Club, a four course meal with mezcal pairings and a mezcal cocktail! Chef Carlos Lopez Munoz has created a four course menu to pair with mezcal tastings from Prolijo Mezcal, an award-winning small batch mezcal from Oaxaca! Tickets are priced at $95 per person and include a mezcal cocktail AND mezcal tastings, four courses, tax, and tip.

Oak & Honey Announces Euchre League!


Calling all card sharks and Euchre enthusiasts! Oak & Honey is kicking off its very first Summer Euchre League, and you're invited to join the fun every Tuesday evening starting June 3rd! Grab a partner and get ready for a night of friendly competition, delicious bites, and refreshing drinks. For just $40 per team ($20 per person), you'll be in the running for cash prizes—yep, all entry fees go to the top teams, with weekly prizes up for grabs too! The restaurant opens at 5pm, so you can fuel up from their special Euchre Night menu before cards hit the table at 7 pm. Ready to ante up?

The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is Chicago’s premier fine art festival showcasing over 125 juried artists. The festival has been rated #1 Fine Arts Festival in Chicago and #2 in the state of Illinois by AFSB. Each year the festival attracts over 45,000 attendees from all around Chicago and the northwestern suburbs as well as patrons from all around the country! Chicago French Bulldog Rescue's Pup Prom 2025 Rodeo Round Up

Rein in the good times for a good cause! This Saturday, May 10th, Rizzo's Bar and Inn is hosting the Chicago French Bulldog Rescue Pup Prom! This year’s theme, Rodeo Roundup, promises a fun, Western-inspired celebration. Every ticket purchased helps Chicago French Bulldog Rescue to continue to rescue frenchies in need. Humans only need to purchase a ticket, and each ticket allows entry for one dog. All well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend. The afternoon will feature silent auctions via Gala Bid, raffles, Split the Pot, and the Lucky Duck game. The first 150 tickets purchased are guaranteed a dog-friendly “SWAG BAG”! In keeping with tradition, a fabulous prize will be awarded to the “Best Dressed” pup.
