Lakeview East Festival of the Arts is This Weekend!
The time has come. This weekend is The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts! We have over 120 artists coming from all over the world, to display their artwork along Broadway. In addition to art, we have a dedicated Kidszone in the Nettlehorst playlot! We have acts like Mary Macaroni, and Mr. Scott's Amazing Musical Backpack, as well as complimentary face painting, and origami lessons! We have some fabulous food vendors on site: Brazilian Bowl, Chicago Sugar Daddy, Chills Italian Ice, Clark Street Dog, and El Taco Cart! Plus, cool off with a refreshing drink from one of our three beer tents, serving up ice-cold beer, seltzers, canned cocktails, and wine. And don't miss the entertainment! Join the 19th Annual Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run this Saturday at Wrigley Field. Runners will race through Lakeview, enter Wrigley Field, and finish near the iconic Marquee, even running along the warning track.
A virtual option allows participants to map their own 5K course. The registration fee for the in-person race is $50 and $30 for children ages 10 and under. The virtual option is $45 for both adults and children. The virtual option price includes the shipment of all participant items for each virtual participant.
Proceeds benefit Cubs Charities, supporting youth, families, and Advocate Children's Hospital. Run and make a difference for Chicago's youth! When you run, your community wins.
